Angioedema

Description:Angioedema refers to swelling that occurs in the tissue below the skin surface, mostoften around the lips and eyes. Angiodema similar to itching, but caused the formermememerah on the skin surface. Angioedema is usually caused by an allergic reaction,either food or medicine.The main cause is often unknown. But sometimes, in some cases due to food allergies, dye, or medicine.Symptoms:Common symptoms of angioedema include:Pembengakakan occurred in the former milking especially near the eyes and lips, butalso on the hands, feet, and the inside of the throat. Besides that, there are a burning sensation, pain and rash on the face, hands, genitals, and feet. In some cases patientsexperience hoarseness and difficulty breathing.Treatment:In case of mild angioedema, patients can treat with medication or alternative therapies.But in case of severe angioedema, the first priority of treatment is to open the airway so that breathing is not disturbed.
