Description:Barrett esophagus is a condition in which the color and composition of cell walls is lower than the wall of the esophagus, usually due to repeated exposure to stomach acid.Barrett esophagus is most often diagnosed in people who have long-term refluxdisease (GERD).Barrett esophagus can increase the risk of esophageal cancer.
